GEM Mortgage

Tony Moon's Commitment

The following principles represent the commitment I make to each client I am given the opportunity to serve. These principles have been established, affirmed and are lived by myself, each and every day.

I have decided that without exception I will:

  • ask questions and listen to my client in order to fully understand their needs
  • create mortgage solutions that complement my clients overall financial strategy, and allow them to most effectively accomplish their short and long term financial goals
  • be sensitive to the fears that many home buyers have about obtaining a mortgage loan and earn their confidence as a trusted advisor
  • respect my clients’ time and minimize the amount of effort required of them by applying my knowledge, experience, and resourcefulness
  • use state of the art technology to complement my customer service, making adjustments when necessary to avoid overwhelming my clients who may be less than technically proficient
  • communicate regularly and proactively with my clients to keep them informed of the status of the loan and to reduce the stress that is associated with uncertainty
  • ensure smooth, on-time closings with anticipated costs and terms
  • provide my clients the luxury of home loans in the future with little effort on their part, by means of an Annual Mortgage Review
  • measure my success by my client’s willingness to confidently recommend me
Update for August 30, 2012

Mortgage Update & News 8-30-12

It's going to be an interesting week going into the Labor day weekend. This week, we have several reports coming out that are market movers such as GDP, Jobless Claims and Personal Income Outlays. However the key event is on Friday when Ben Bernanke will speak at the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City Economic Symposium. There isn't much of anything new that Bernanke can say that hasn't already been said regarding more stimulus to the economy if/when it needs it. Most investors and economists are speculating that we'll need the stimulus near the end of the year. With all the interest surrounding the upcoming election, news from Europe is off to the sideline. It may not be the front page for us here, but it's an ongoing challenge as Spain deals with a further disappointing economic performance. It's truly a mixed bag this week, and my assessment is to 'Lock' in the short term and 'Float' for the long run. Weird, I know, but it's a crazy world out there so…Have a great week and stay positive!

Quote of the week
Nobody grows old by merely living a number of years. People grow old by deserting their ideals. You are as young as your faith, as old as your doubt; as young as your self-confidence, as old as your fear; as young as your hope, as old as your despair
